Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna’s Noir Botanica Cast Its Spell on Mumbai 

Galeries Lafayette Mumbai played host to Noir Botanica, the latest capsule collection from Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, with an immersive evening that brought together fashion, culture and craftsmanship. Presented on August 20, the collection was unveiled through an intimate experience that allowed guests to engage with the designs up close. 

At the heart of Noir Botanica is a return to the design codes that have long defined the label. Known for their architectural aesthetic and refined approach to occasion dressing, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna introduced a focused edit of menswear and womenswear that explored sharp tailoring, fluid silhouettes and intricate handwork. The collection balanced structure and movement through sculpted forms, delicate sheers and richly textured surfaces. 

Rendered in a palette of charcoal, gunmetal, oxidized silver, black, and olive, the collection reflected the mood of its name while staying true to the brand’s signature glamour. Dimensional embroidery and handcrafted detailing added depth to each look, highlighting the craftsmanship that has become synonymous with the designers’ work.

The setting at Galeries Lafayette Mumbai complemented the collection perfectly. Guests experienced every embellishment, texture and silhouette at close range, reinforcing the house’s commitment to creating pieces that are as considered in their construction as they are striking in their appearance. 

The evening concluded with actor Vijay Varma closing the presentation, bringing a memorable finish to the showcase. Jewellery by Mahesh Notandass and Vandals, alongside partnerships with Volvo and MAC, further enhanced the experience.
